Quick announcement before we get into it:

We’ll not only be sending our weekly emails here, but we’ll also start re-posting some of your favorite articles from the WARKITCHEN MAGAZINE here as well. The new domain is editorial.warkitchen.net.
P.S. Thank you to those of you who have pledged your support, it means a lot! We’ll eventually release more exclusive content as well. Watch this space. Be it new recipes for Optimal Fuel, things we’re working on in the background for the magazine, new physical product ideas, you name it. More details coming soon 🥂
For now though, enjoy the last Sunday of April!
The “Ever-Renewable” Human Body
One post that resonated well this week was this concept of the human body being “ever renewable”. The doomer mindset is very popular on social media, and sometimes it makes people think that they’re beyond saving. “Seed oils stay in your body for 6 years!! There are microplastics in everything you’re eating!! Look at the toxins you’re consuming everyday!!”. While there’s merit to some of these claims, and many of them are helpful when presented properly, a lot of the time this fear-mongering is just easy engagement farming.
What we want you to understand is that no matter how bad things might seem, there’s always hope. The human body is “ever-renewable”. No matter what you’ve done in the past, you can change everything TODAY. It’s never too late. Every cell in your body will regenerate from something you put in your mouth every day forward for the next few years of your life. Never forget that.
Your future self will thank you for putting in the foundations now, no matter what. It’s never too late to start eating healthy. Here are THREE things you can immediately do to look, feel and be a healthier machine:
Healthy Snacks Will Make a Return
Snacks get such a bad reputation. And when you think about it, it’s quite deserved when we look at the options available to us in the market. They’re almost always a concoction of the worst ingredients on the planet, designed to get the consumer as addicted as humanely possible. See, we think snacks should be decadent. There’s nothing wrong with wanting a little something to snack on, so long as it’s made with the right ingredients.
It’s the same with beverages. Why must every soda brand be unhealthy? Why use artificial dyes? Why pump it full of high fructose corn syrup?
Imagine a world of healthy soda brands. Sparkling mountain water. Based electrolyte formula. Infused natural fruit flavors. REAL HYDRATION. Make soda great again — it should never taste like cough syrup.
Goat’s Milk is the Best Milk
Goat milk, and goat dairy in general, has been my choice of dairy lately. It’s simply superior!
- easier to digest (if you have lactose intolerance you must try)
- closer to human milk (better for based baby formula)
- goats are more energetic creatures (we absorb their power)
- tastes better (you get used to it)
- rich in magnesium, calcium, vitamin c
- more medium chain fatty acids
- converts to energy more quickly
- incredibly anti-inflammatory
- hydrates you exceptionally well
- more whey protein
- more calcium
- more potassium
- more vitamin a
- more niacin
- more fat
- 🐐
More baby formula needs to be made with quality goat milk and real ingredients (crazy how it's almost impossible to find formula without seed oils)
Farmer’s Market Strawberries Are an Entirely Different Fruit
Nobody ever regrets building a good relationship with farmers. Support the small guys — especially those who do things brilliantly but can't afford an organic certification. They need you more than you think. A world full of ONLY supermarkets would be really ugly, don't you think
❋ Inside Jessica Helgerson’s 550-Square-Foot Pied-à-Terre in Paris
That enameled lava stone counter top is mesmerizing… in the best shade of green too!
❋ Bella’s Buffalo Chicken Schnitzel with Bleu Cheese & Pear Salad
Feel like you could replace neutral oil with a thick chunk of duck fat, would taste amazing regardless (with say, avocado oil)
