In 2025, diets are dead. You don’t need a specific ‘diet’ anymore. As it stands, there’s already so much that we need to avoid in the average grocery store. Seed oils. Artificial dyes. Pesticides. Fortified grain. Microplastics. There are already so many ingredients that we don’t want in our system. Why make life that much more difficult by eliminating entire food groups? Sure, there might be a place for restrictive diets that you can use as a tool every now and then. But in general? The answer has always been simple. We can eat everything as long as we prepare it properly.
Meat is incredibly nourishing and should be what most of your meals are built around. This is where a bulk of your food allowance should go to for every dollar gives you back the most.
The price good quality meat commands is well worth the premium. Think about it. A farmer got up at the crack of dawn every morning for YEARS to provide a happy environment & proper nutrition for the animal's entire life. Whatever you’re paying? It's worth it. Especially if you're buying local.
Dairy is necessary for calcium. If you have problems with dairy, milk in particular, look for something fermented. It’ll be easier on your stomach. Yogurt. Skyr. Kefir. Cheese.
Seafood is absolutely crucial. You need your omega 3s. They’re actually more cost effective and more bioavailable than fish oil. Get wild-caught salmon in. Sardines. Oysters. Your body will thank you for it.
Don’t be afraid of plants. They can be extremely beneficial. They just naturally contain substances to ward off predators. It’s a natural defense mechanism. This is also a reason why so many vegetables in their unprepared form taste so unappetizing. Children are actually on to something! Feed a child raw spinach and they will not touch it at all. However, feed him creamed spinach instead and the mood will change.
Needs To Be Cooked (Ideally with Fat)
Leafy greens (spinach, kale, broccoli, cabbage)
Sauté in a pan with tallow, grass-fed butter, EVOO or coconut oil. I usually add some garlic and onion towards the end of the cooking process as well.
Needs To Be Peeled
Potatoes, Carrots, Tomatoes
Best Consumed Raw (Or close to raw i.e. cooking last)
Carrots, Onion, Garlic
When it comes to grains, just make sure they’re prepared the right way. For the longest time, our ancestors have properly soaked and fermented grains to make them more nutritious and easier on the gut. Soak, sprout and/or ferment. This is ancient wisdom that a lot of us in today’s world have seem to forgotten. If you’d like more details, this would help:

❋ INSIDE A NEW $1.2B LONDON HOTEL WHERE CHURCHILL WON THE WAR
Upstairs, five heritage suites, once the domains of leading politicians and military folk, offer neo-classical apartment living with rich wood paneling, antique fireplaces and lush bathrooms. A stay in the Lord Haldane Suite, Churchill’s office during WWII, will indulge your statesman dreams with soaring windows and red velvet sofas. Go to the top of the duplex Turret Suite for views over Whitehall, including the stoic mounted horse guards from the household cavalry stationed across the street.
Eight spacious corner suites offer expansive accommodations and are named after notable women who worked here, including Christian Lamb who mapped the D-Day landings. Now a very spritely 104, she finally saw the Normandy beaches for the first time at this year’s D-Day 80th anniversary commemoration, where French president Emmanuel Macron presented her with the Legion d’honneur order of merit.
