It’s always nice to walk into an establishment where everyone knows your name. The valet daps you up. The waitresses smile. The manager greets you like a childhood friend. It doesn’t even matter if it’s a restaurant, café or even your local bakery. The principles are the same.
You don’t need to be a billionaire philanthropist to lock spots down. It’s genuinely about being a nice person who injects the world with soul. Walk in. Say hello. Smile. Learn to make casual conversation that’s real., Ask questions with genuine curiosity and sometimes you’ll be surprised just how far that gets you.
I call a spot like this home base. It’s where you can take business meetings, dates and feel like the man. It’s easy to say you know the owner but walking into home base speaks for itself. You don’t have to do the talking when everyone treats you incredibly well.
This usually just kinda happens naturally if you start frequenting the same spots over time, but here are some general dos and don’ts that you should take note of! Feel free to leave your own tips in the comments below 🥂
