Without your health, you have nothing. All the wealth in the world would be insignificant if you had a mind and body that could not function. Health is truly wealth, and this is why you need to start investing in your health the moment you make good money — you’ll reap more rewards than any dividend fund could.
Revise your supplements
We’re living in a world vastly different to our ancestors. While we’ve never had this much access to food, the average quality of produce has drastically declined.
You do not need to feel guilty about using supplements, even if you consume a primarily whole food based diet. Take more magnesium, both orally and topically. Consume cold-pressed black seed oil as a prophylaxis. Use supplements that actually move the needle (avoid generic multivitamins).
The exact supplements you would need will differ based on your specific diet and circumstances. Get bloodwork done to identify any chronic deficiencies and plug the gap as soon as possible.
Note: Supplementation TAKES TIME. It’s the same when start a new diet. The body takes weeks for nutritional deficiencies to be fixed and for you to start feeling the compounded benefits. Trust the process.
Shop at higher end supermarkets or farmer’s markets
Quality matters, especially in a world where there’s so much junk. Paying top dollar for the best food you can find in your area pays dividends in a clear mind and unrivaled energy. However, always make sure you check your labels and to even see exactly where your food comes from. There’s nothing worse than paying a premium for beautifully wrapped garbage (I’m talking about all those products with fancy fonts that STILL use canola oil and artificial dyes as their ingredients).
3. Improve your hydration game
What you drink matters as much as what you eat. Think about the water that you’re drinking on a DAILY basis. What’s actually in it? If you’re drinking from a tap outside European cities where spring water is commonplace, you might want to install a filtration system in your home. Either filter + remineralize your water with electrolytes, or get spring water delivered to you in bulk.
Find a local bakery and become a regular
There’s much to be said about being a regular at a local bakery. You’re not only getting fresh, perfect sourdough loaves every few days, but one underrated benefit is that you get to try things off the menu. Who knows? You might be lucky and get offered a beautiful pistachio croissant one day. Or that new herb focaccia they’ve been experimenting. Nobody’s life ever got worse after having a local bakery on lock.
P.S. It never hurts to buy extra pastries and gift them away to those who might need it, I’ve heard it grants you immense good luck
Upgrade your wardrobe
Go through your wardrobe and identify the gaps that need to be filled. Sort your stuff by material, and start adding more pieces made of natural materials such as cotton, bamboo and wool. Think organic cotton underwear. Tailored linen shorts for summer. Merino wool pants. The things you wear affect your health more than you think.
Overhaul your pantry
What are you cooking with? Look through your pans, appliances and cutlery. See if there’s anything sub-par that could do with an upgrade. Anything that incentivizes you to spend more time cooking healthier, more nutritious food is always a sound investment.

Upgrade your lighting
Light is a crucial pillar of health that most people neglect. Switch the harsh blue fluorescents in your home to full-spectrum bulbs. Use warm lighting in the evening. Edison lamps. Incandescents. Light beeswax candles as you read for cozy night-time reading.
Keep yourself stocked with honey products of all kind
Honey is God’s Nectar. Why wouldn’t you want to keep more of a substance that doesn’t just taste amazing, but is incredible for you? Get raw honeycomb. Indulge in all the varieties of raw honey.
A light acacia for teas and use as a general sweetener. A darker jarrah or manuka for medicinal purposes. And everything in between just for the fun of it all. And yes, you can even infuse them with herbs!

I would love to eat the best quality foods I could get, but the money is just not there. I do the best I can, but if somebody says, "Well, what is your health worth?", the implication being, you need to eat healthy regardless of cost, to be healthy. I agree with that, but I usually answer, "Right now, my health is worth about $200 a month, because that's all that's left over from a $856 monthly Social Security check..
I have, tragically, known so many people with plenty of disposable income who still buy such trash foods and don't take care of their bodies. I like that you gave the qualifier of "the moment you make good money," because there a ton of people out there who can afford it buy still don't prioritize this. And if they everyone who could afford it bought the quality things, that would help create more supply overall.
